Your responsibilities

  • Follow health and safety procedures and use equipment safely
  • Wear PPE when it's required
  • Attend any safety training you're asked to
  • Take reasonable care of yourself and others
  • Report hazards, accidents and concerns

What we do

  • Check your employer's health and safety arrangements before you start
  • Visit and monitor your workplace throughout your programme
  • Use your feedback and reviews to spot concerns
  • Support your physical and mental wellbeing

Report it the same day

Tell your employer and BPIF Training about any accident, injury or near miss on the same day, however minor. Report hazards as soon as you notice them. You don't need to be certain something is unsafe. Contact your tutor, email training@bpif.training or call 01676 526060.
