This statement covers BPIF Training Cloud (bpiftraining.cloud), our online learning site. It's run by BPIF Training Limited. We want as many people as possible to be able to use it, whatever device, assistive technology or settings they use.

What you should be able to do

  • Zoom in up to 200% without the text spilling off the screen
  • Change colours, contrast and fonts using your browser or device settings
  • Get around the site using just a keyboard
  • Use a screen reader, screen magnifier or speech recognition software
  • Use the site on a phone or tablet as well as a computer

Moodle, the platform the site runs on, is built to meet the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG). AbilityNet has advice on making your device easier to use if you have a disability.

What may not be fully accessible

We know some parts of the site may not work well for everyone yet:

  • Some older documents, such as PDFs and Word files, may not work fully with screen readers
  • Some videos may not have captions or transcripts
  • Content from other providers, such as embedded videos and external learning tools, is outside our control and may not meet the same standards
  • Some quizzes and interactive activities may be harder to use with a keyboard or screen reader

Need something in a different format?

If you need information in another format, such as large print, an accessible PDF, an audio version or easy read, or you can't use part of the site, contact us:

Max Walkington, Operations Director
Email: training@bpif.training
Phone: 01676 526060

Tell us which page or activity you were using, what the problem was, and the format you need. We'll get back to you as soon as we can.

Support with your learning

If accessibility affects your course or assessment, we can also make reasonable adjustments. See our Reasonable Adjustments Policy and Additional Learning Support Policy, or talk to your tutor.

How we are improving

We check new course content with Moodle's accessibility toolkit before it goes live, and we fix problems we find in existing content. We'll carry out a fuller review of the site and update this statement with the results.

If you are not happy with our response

Tell us using our Complaints Policy. You can also get free advice from the Equality Advisory and Support Service.
